      • This only goes down to 69cm tho. Those little bit does make a difference sometimes

        • Especially if you want to whack some castors on it.

  • Thanks OP, just picked up a 140cm version with dual motors 👍

  • Argh the cheaper one goes higher than the more expensive one. I've got a feeling that 118cm is going to be a inch or two too low. While the other will be fine but you know… crappy.

    • I'm worried about this too. but don't forget to allow for the tabletop thickness. I was trying to measure what frame I need and thought I need 118cm will max it out easily. But then if I have a 2cm thick tabletop on top of the frame, that should get me to 120cm… I THINK..

      • Yeah 118cm is measured to top of existing desktop.

I tried the one in Office works at 118cm height then at 122cm, the difference was comfort and unusable between the two heights.

I am 189cm tall so perhaps if you are shorter you'll be fine.

  • Which one to get:

This one - single motor but 122cm height - ~$300 delivered (maybe -20% tmr if any left at 7am).
    Memory/dual motor one - but only 118cm height - $383
Groupon deal - 118cm height dual motor (now someone is saying its a single motor with drive axle… ~$380 - no table top,

Being 6ft tall I think I am borderline needing 118-120cm height so guess I should go for this single motor one?? Can someone pls compare these three for any notable differences?

    • How to measure the optimal standing desk height?

    • Some things to consider..

Single Motor - 70kg capacity, no height memory
Dual Motor - 100kg capcity, height memory

Weight is not really a factor personally, generally dont have anything close to 70kg on my table. The memory is a big plus though. Also, I'm not sure if theres any build quality difference between the single and dual motor one.

  • Thanks Op ordered 140cm black top and grey frame.

  • Is it somehow possible to order just the table top? I do like that dark wood table towards 140cm is perfect length for me

  • I have not used standing desks before so this may be a dumb question, can you actually use monitor mounts on these type of desks?

Does anyone have experience of using monitor mounts on the listed models here too (the single / dual motor)? Is it solid enough to sustain the weight?

      Sure can.

Whats the difference with frames, such as BK WH? can someone please explain
im looking at the photos and they all look the time

my bad is the legs colour HAHHA

  • How important is dual motors and memory?

I will likely have this at the highest setting or thereabouts.

    Is it worth $100 more?

    • The other benefit of the dual motor is that it also has height memory.

    • If you're going to be alternating between sitting/standing a lot then I would recommend the dual just for the memory function. It would get annoying having to manually adjust to the right heights multiple times a day as it does take some time of holding down the button

Anyone get an email saying no stock til Jan?

    • Me.

    • Really?! I haven’t. That’s BS. It still says 1st-8th Dec eta. ?!

    • My order has updated that it has just been shipped from West Melbourne, I ordered yesterday morning around 11 am.

      • When did you order and what config ? Mine was duel motor 140cm black legs and walnut top

        • 140cm dual motor with White Frame and Top, probably they have plenty of them in stock.

    • “ Please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of our company.

One part of the item you had ordered is currently unavailable. I am sorry that we could not notify you earlier before you placed your order. The problem was discovered a little late.

This item had gone out of stock a week ago but the automated system did not send a notice because of technical glitch.

The supplier will be able to make it available again in early January.”

Not sure how may of you got this..

      Ordered: 120 dual oak top

      • My order came through today sooner than expected. However, table top was damaged upon delivery. I have sent the team a message via ebay :(

        • Same, all scratched up

          • @Truthbe: Have you wrote them? Mind sharing the response?

        • I'm curious, what top did you get and how damaged was it? was it mostly on the edging or all over the surface?

          • @CYMA: Top was all scratched badly

  • Does anyone know if we can install wheel castors on the leg frames?

  • I'm struggling on spending 300 to 500 dollars on a dual motor without enough warranty, 1 or 2 years is not reassuring.

Would anyone know if I can atleast get a leg for 5 or more years warranty?

    • +1

go to top brands ie omnidesk something like that.
then of course price is $800-900
      your choice

      • 35% off currently @ omnidest around $500+

  • Damn, the postage put it to $455 for me for the 140cm dual motor.

  • Can someone recommend a good monitor arm (single monitor) for this?

  • My order came through today - 120cm dual motor oak. Will look to assemble tonight, but on initial inspection the top appears to be fine (had been a bit worried about the damaged reports from others)

    • What’s the model number of your desk ?

My dual motor one arrived just now too.

My dual motor is HSAD-204-WH (white). Same as the Groupon deal but basically same price, with a free table top…

      • Mine is the HSAD-204-BK (black). Will be interesting to compare to our Omni desk (which the wife uses) that we got when they were doing a 50% off thing, way back…

        • Interested to hear as I was about to buy an omnidesk too!

          • @dammit: Got it assembled last night. It's not quite as polished as the Omni (which hides the desk cables well, whereas the Artiss basically cable ties, which is fine, and the motor probably feels a little less powerful/smooth), but for the price of $100's of dollars less, quite happy with it so far. Also doesn't go quite as low as I'd like, which the Omni does do, which I think might be down to the Artiss oak table top being quite a bit thicker than the hard plastic top we have on the Omni. Oh, and the Omni has a hole (and lid) pre-cut for cabling (although in both cases, the actual cable tray is extra - I just got an Ikea one for the Artiss).

            • @nateboy: Yeah I suppose it all adds up. Tempted to get the Omni desk deal which runs through to 6 Dec (if I manage to get a full refund for my damaged Artiss table).

  • I also bought the single motor one which may be delivered tmr by a different courier for some reason. Interested to know the model number of it.

  • I just got mine delivered, the top is all scratched up..

    • This seem to be a lot of people's fear, me included. Are they not probably wrapped to avoid scratches?

      • Funnily enough, they were wrapped very well - I don't think they were scratched in the delivery, I think they came from the factory like that

        • That sucks, hopefully you're in Melbourne and will be able to quickly get a replacement.

          • @Misogi Kumagawa: Yeah the packaging seems secured but mine came damaged :( Wrote them and said no stock for replacement now.. Wrote them via ebay and takes about 1 business day for a response. Still finding a resolution on day 3 now. Probably cheaper than the other brands for a reason.

            • @7speed: They offered me $30 compensation, what a joke! I told them to fix this mess or I'm contacting paypal

              • @Truthbe: What is Paypal's usual policy on matters like this? I am asking them for a full refund including collection of damaged item from my place. They have escalated the matter to the 'supervisor' but I am not optimistic.

                • +1

@7speed: Paypal will fix this for you, I'm pretty confident - let me know what they say once you hear back if you could, they are selling the table tops by themselves for $99 so their offer is a joke

  • my package has arrived today.

    ill assemble it tonight

    • my package has arrived today.
      What about the desk?

      • -1

I will show you my package if you show me yours

    • Yeah i got a 120 walnut table top and no scratches. it works like a charm easy set up.

  • Mine just came. The first thing I did was check if the top was scratched. It's not. Phew!

  • I got my double motor 140cmx70cm white top grey leg desk earlier today, package was extremely well done with foam protectors everywhere you would want them and plastic wrap over most the metal frame too. I slowly set it up over a couple hours since space was tight during build with all the box and desk top nearby (and old desk waiting for help to be moved with another) but instructions were simple to follow and once built, I needed the help of another to flip it the right way around. I must say I am very impressed, super quiet and elevates quick enough. Rises to 118cm with an extremely stable top even when you try to shake, lowers to 69cm. Oh and no damage to mine except I needed to drill four holes to attach mid section of frame to the table top and the power bay to the table top. When I bought this desk I was kind of pissed about paying around $60 postage, but in the end of the day I only paid about $170 more than the manual adjustable desk from Ikea for dual motor electric. TY again OP.

    • double checking its more like 72cm lowest with the table top included, 121cm high.

      • Thanks for confirming , 72 lowest is too high for me.

  • Any help would be amazing.

In true ozb fashion I didn't hesitate and bought straightaway, I received the frame and no tabletop. I waited a couple more days but then when I went back and looked at my order I seemed to have ordered the frame only version. On the link above all the options have the frame and top, I ordered the very first one with white legs and it says (+120 black top). Do I have a case to raise against the seller? Or am I on my own for not double checking at the checkout? Anyone else had a similar experience?

    Edit: typo

    • +1

Does your order state frame only? I'm not sure how you manage to order frame only when all the combinations in this listing include a table top.

      • I'm so confused as well. The link in my purchase history (that states frame only) is completely different from the one I thought I was buying (linked in the deal). There's a note on my order that the description was updated since I purchased, but I'm pretty sure they can't change it that completely. The only thing that sounds logical to me is I made a missclick somewhere and ordered a product that was the exact same price as the listed one without the table top. Thanks for the help though - I'll chalk it up as a learning curve to double check everything.

  • I'm loving this dual motor desk, its so stable and good quality build for the price. Anyone done anything good with the cables hanging underneath?

Height is great for me, 185cm tall. Plenty of extra in it.

It's a bit slower up/down than I thought it would be. But then again I've been spoilt with the standing desks we have in the office which are extremely fast.
