This white Solt heat pump dryer has the capacity to dry 7 kg (1kg the weight of one dry towel) or one queen doona, which is perfect for households of three or four. A heat pump dryer dries fabrics more carefully and efficiently than other types of dryers, which protects clothes and helps with power bill savings. Heat pump dryers don't need to be vented outside so they're perfect if you're renting. Its very high 6 star energy rating enables you to reduce energy use. The white Solt GGSHPD70 features 16 types of drying programs, allowing you to program each load of laundry for the best results. It has reverse tumbling, delicates, refresh, and anti-crease programs.     Hi Elijah, Residentia Rep here (distributor of Solt in Australia). Heat a pump dryers can be slower than traditional vented dryers but with that comes quite a few benefits… Energy efficiency (this model is 6 stars) to save you running costs, more gentle on your clothes and they condense the water into a storage tank (or where plumbed, down the drain) rather than filling your laundry with condensation, many more drying programs (16 in this case)- just to name a few. This dryer has a Standard Dry Time of 198 mins for a regular load. I hope this assists!

    Hi @tango68 - this looks like the same unit as the Teka Heat Pump which I believe Residentia also do?? That has 4.7 stars on Product Review (https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/teka-thpd70) and 4.6 stars on Appliances Online (https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/product/teka-thpd70-7kg-…). It seems like they're both made in China too.

    Hi tango68, this dryer is made in China. It’s only recently launched within the Solt range and The Good Guys/JB HiFi, so currently no customer reviews for this particular model- sorry! It is backed up with a 2 year warranty and Residentia take great pride in our product quality.
