ASUS ROG Strix Sale Price? (Comparisons in Post)

Hi, I'm looking to sell my ASUS ROG Strix GL702ZC laptop: ASUS site with all specs

  • 17" IPS FHD 60hz Freesync
  • AMD Ryzen 7 1700
  • 16gb RAM
  • AMD Radeon RX 580 4gb
  • 256gb SSD
  • 1tb HDD
  • Webcam, Bluetooth 4.2, Card reader
     

I wasn't sure what to price it at, so I looked for similar Geforce/Intel models.

Similar GPU - Geforce GTX 1060 | Screenshots of benchmark comparisons

Similar CPU - i7-7700HQ

With this in mind, I looked up some similar spec laptops on Gumtree: Screenshots for seller privacy

Would a good price be between $1250-1500? It's in mint condition, was not used often (backup machine for light design/editing work). Have also posted to Whirlpool - wasn't sure of the best place to ask this.

    I'd say $1500 is way too high for those specs. Maybe $1250 if you're lucky but I expect you won't find a buyer.

    You may be able to command a higher asking price if you still have warranty on it. How high, it really depends on the buyer and the value they place on it. In my experience selling a gaming laptop on Gumtree (many years ago), it was really challenging to meet my own price in mind. You have to consider for $1500 there maybe a lot of new options in the market. Obviously I am hoping you could sell near to $1500 as much as possible.
