Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse Not Working on Work Laptop

Just bought this mouse. I was able to install logitech options and customise my settings on my personal laptop. Mouse works fine. However when I connect the mouse to my work laptop, the customised settings have disappeared. The first solution would be to install the logitech options software onto my work laptop however policy prohibits this. Is there any way to work around this? Bought this mouse mostly for work and not being able to use it's features is frustrating.

    • Logitech options also allows you to basically drag and drop docs from one computer to another, so they are probably not going to allow it.

    This would be retained on the pc/laptop, wouldn’t transfer to another pc/laptop (you’ll have to start again per setup).

    As per John, you’ll need to get some policy exemption from your work place to allow you to get it done.

  • For the settings to work on any PC, you have to first create an account in Logitech Options on your personal PC and sync your settings to it. Then you can install Logitech Options on work PC and sign into same account to sync the settings. Customized settings are saved in the software, not on the mouse itself.
