inFAMOUS 2 Hero Edition $30 from GAME (Out of Stock Online)

160

So as the title states, the Hero Edition can be bought for $30 instore, granted your store has it in stock. You might also be able to price match the deal with another store like JB Hi Fi or EB Games, I personally matched it at JB Hi Fi, and will provide the reciept if anyone would like it.

EDIT: Here's the link to the receipt:

  • Any way to check store stock online?

  • Would like to price match at my nearby JB, still have stock there. Can you send me a copy of your receipt?

    • I just edited the description and added a link to it there. Hopefully it works out for you :D

      • thank you very much on my way now =D

I feel sorry for the fools who spent $190 on this..

  • None in stock in any of the gold coast stores - robina, surfers, tweed heads etc just rang them all

    • Like I said, try JB Hi Fi with the receipt I've posted. Hope you can get the deal :D

      • Tried price matching with jb but they won't price match because it's out of stock in game website. Did you bought it with the website showing out of stock?

        • Yep. The price is in store as well, and all the JBs I've been to (quite a few across NSW) always match regardless of stock levels, they only need to verify the price is instore, which it is.

        • The stores in wollongong and warrawong wont price match due to price stock levels. its because they are unique run. They have a head office but have a different store manager that makes those sorts of decisions.

  • Was there much left at the parramatta jb?

    • Parramatta JB (The one on George Street) is sold out. I think the one in Westfield might have some left, however they wouldn't match it for $30 when I tried yesterday because it was too far below cost. They might match it now if you show the receipt, but stores within Westfield have a tendency to be quite strict when it comes to these things. Still, no harm in giving it a go.

Tried matching it at another jb and that guy tried to call the jb branch that sold your copy and unfortunately closed. Told me to try tomorrow. I'm getting quite pissed with jb staffs =/.

  • WOW I'm gonna check tomorrow

  • Soz double post

you Gotta laugh at these urban myths -jb price matches are normally accidents. Jb's have as many excuses not to price match as Eb which is why they end up with so expensive specials hanging around their stores for so long taking up floor space.

Well done libertyprime plus 10 for uploading the receipt. oh and if anyone from jb hifi - thats a funny name as well - reads this - sometimes pricematching can be good for your business because you get rid of overbought crap at the same price your competitors are dumping it for plus your customers will like you for it - oh and you avoid embarassing farces like that ps3 dump.

    • I've a 3.15 firmware PS3 that disagrees that it was a farce. Those who had orders cancelled got a fair substitute too.

  • LOL I sense someone having a sook

  • I called a bunch of Game stores in NSW this morning, none had stock.

  • I check GAME's online specials quite a lot and even yesterday I didn't see this.

  • None in WA.
