Supposed to be for ex members but anyone can join using the link. Pretty good value considering they have a wide network of quality gyms.
Whats their facilities like? Pretty basic? Or decent selection of everything?
The one I go to has a good selection, one in CBD even better. Google the location and you should be able to find some pics

n) Zap reserves the right, at any time, to change the Membership Fees charged to Members for use of the Club facilities subject to any lifetime guarantee on membership price agreed to at the time of entering into the Membership Agreement. Zap agrees to use reasonable endeavours to provide you with Written Notice of the changes. The changes will take effect 30 days after the Written Notice has deemed to be received by you. We deem receipt to have occurred 2 business days after the Written Notice was sent. At the end of the 30-day period, you authorise Zap and/or the Payment Provider to debit the new amount to your account.
Surely that's not meant as scummy as it reads.

At the date of this Contract the total of the instalments due during the Minimum Term is the total amount payable by you under this Contract.This is stated under the Total Value of Contract set out in the Payment Plan Section.
where this Contract continues beyond the Minimum Term,you agree that Debit success and/or the Facility may give notice to increase the instalment amount payable,and such increase will not take effect for at least 30day’s following the date of notification.
At any rate there is a 10 day cooling off in the contract so if they give you grief cancel it asap

But anyway, it’s not putting me off and I’m thinking about it. From what I understand the cooling off period in SA doesn’t start until the payments do so 4 weeks from the start of the contract. Not bad.
