I'm up to 12 cancelled orders chasing promo sets and buying smartly .
Not happy with Lego : (

    • That sucks… Any particular reason why they have been cancelled? I got one cancelled because by accident I surpassed the purchase limit with was 2 and tried to buy a third one.

    • I've been lucky so far and try to get the GWP on the day of offer.

  • Lots of things I would buy are sold out :( hopefully some of them become available during the promo.

LEGO knows how to milk our $$$ :p

  • Man people are selling this ice skating rink set for $90 on ebay.

    • 😲

      • Common. The Gingerbread GWP is $75 to $90 too

  • Considering I never got my last GWP because they 'sold out' I'm getting over their promos rather quickly 😒

    • So you buy an item that qualifies for the promo, it's on your invoice, and they ship the item minus promo?

Yep and when you ring up to ask about it, they simply tell you that they ran out of stock and it's your tough luck.

Too bad that you may have forgone a sale etc somewhere else in order to get the GWP.

        • Well that bites.

What about when your set and/or promo arrived with a damaged box, direct from Lego? What are your options?

          • @DevGuy: I've been lucky enough not to suffer damage but that seems to be a fluke tbh. However, compared to Myer and others who use those stupid black electronic ties….

  • I set up a request to let me know when stock was back in on one product.. they emailed less than 2 hours ago to say it was back in stock, but when I go to the page it says out of stock.
It sold out that quick? Damn. :/ Probably people getting it to sell at a higher value on ebay.

    • what set are you talking about?

      • 10275.

        • I actually managed to get this in the small amount of time it was available. Mind you it has already gone straight to backorder.

          • @scorpionsa: I was lucky and got one as well :) but yeah it appears on backorder as well

    • Yeah, it’s nuts, I tried setting up a notification on the new ghostbusters set. Saw the email and check lego.com and it’s already gone.

  • This would be great if there was actually anything decent left to buy.

Don’t buy anything just for GWP as since recent lego were selling these GWP for around $30 in Their certified stores.
