Seeking Quiet DC Cooling Fan Recommendations

I’m looking for a quiet mains powered DC floor or pedestal fan for my home.
At least 30cm diameter, preferably with a remote control. Oscillating is not required. No price limit.
I hate having air blowing in my face, so any suggested pedestal fan would need to be able to be adjusted to a low height and have a good ability to tilt. Currently I have a (non-DC) Kambrook KFA423 fan which met both these requirements but is loud and otherwise disappointing.

So far the best match I have found is the Hyundai HYFANDCS24A (or very similar but inferior Kogan KADCFAN3N1A) which adjust down to around 70cm tall.

  • With DC fans larger is better. The reason they are quiet is they spin at low speeds but with small size like 30CM blades you get very little air movement at low speeds.

  • Two weeks ago I purchased the Kambrook 40cm DC KPF849 from Big W for $149.
It has 5 modes including silent and sleep but I find that the normal mode with a speed setting of 02 is perfect for me. It is whisper quiet with good airflow for sleeping.
My previous Convair tower model with 3 fans sounded like a Rolls Royce jet engine.

  • I did a review of the Kogan Premium DC fan, if that helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8u_bjDWZ1SA

It has a few shortcomings, which I discuss in my vid.
