Does Kogan Provide Warranty or Are They Grey?

So I grabbed some Samsung buds +, sold by Kogan, and want to know for future reference if these will be covered through warranty or not. A quick google gave me info on Apple products, wasn't sure if that'd apply though.

  • 99% possibility they are Grey imports with no local manufacturer's backup available.

    Then you'll have the issues of trying to obtain "Customer Service" from Kogan if something does go wrong with your purchase.

    • They can be pretty good sometimes. A few years back the gf had bought 2 of the same phone, one from Kogan and one from ebay. Can't remember why, maybe one was for a friend or something.

      Anyone they were both grey imports, and one of them stopped working but there was no serial on either purchase to figure out who to return it to, and we didn't want to have warranty rejected AFTER sending it overseas.
      So we sent Kogan an email explaining that we weren't sure whether to return it to them or another retailer, and if they could provide the serial (in hindsight this level of honesty could have backfired easily).

      They just said to send them the phone, and they sent out a brand new replacement.
