Where to Find Cheap Lobster and Seafood?

There is so much talk about China not accepting our lobster, seafood and wine.

I eagerly await some good Samaritan to post some good deals here in Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Come on, put it up here, I will be there!

This is a good starting point:
        Latitude: -28° 27' 10.79" S
        Longitude: 113° 43' 20.39" E

Here's an alternative if you're lazy:
        Latitude: -36° 49' 15.35" S
        Longitude: 139° 51' 28.49" E

        • Aka Sydney's fish market. Front and back doors.

  • Oh yeah, if we aren't exporting it to China maybe all that grade A seafood will be cheap down at Woolies all this month for xmas.

    • Down down lobster and seafood (and wine) is down…

      nuh.

  • Very real possibility of South Australia drowning in surplus wine, so much so
that Snorkels (not masks) will become de rigueur.

Drakes SA apparently will be selling it for about $75/kg as they announced it. Not too sure if it extends to the branches in Qld though. Best way is to look for your major seafood retailer and ask them

probably cheaper at a wholesale level… when it trickles down to retailers, you will likely be paying the same, if not more because of Christmas mark ups

If you want fresh and cheap, have to travel to the 'fish markets' in your area, be early
