I think you need to use the Switch once (go online) and link the Switch to an account you create.
After you have done that you can simply purchase online (without the need for the Switch) but you have to do it initially.
Switch is unsealed anyway :)

Hey guys.
Newbie here.
I've bought a switch which I haven't opened as I'm giving it to my son for Xmas.
Looking to get the ATV game.
Questions about eshop games:
Is it a single download or can it be downloaded again and stays as part of your account.
Can I buy now and download later (once he opens the switch)
Do I just register online with eshop with my email and once we open the switch I can login via that with the email and download?
