Buying Amazon UK Prime Videos from Australia

Does anyone know any working method of buying Amazon UK Prime Videos (Movies & TV Shows) from Australia ?

I can use a VPN and my Australian Prime account to watch 'free' content (that is, included within Prime membership), on Amazon UK.

But, I haven't been able to buy any non-free content.

Trying to buy any Prime Videos throws-up an error about my registered credit cards being non-UK.

I tried adding my Transferwise GBP debit card & also a Coles Pre-paid Mastercard, but both of these were instantly rejected as not being acceptable cards on Amazon.

I also added GBP 10 to my balance, using an Amazon UK gift card, but after clicking on the 'Buy' button, the next screen goes instantly to the error message about my non-UK cards, and a screen for adding new credit/debit cards or gift cards, and there's no option to use my previously added gift card balance.

I'm guessing that trying to add another gift card in that particular screen won't work either ?

Is there any possible work-around, such as creating a new account with a UK address, and then using gift cards ?

It's so annoying that the film studios put up so many hurdles in front of a paying customer who wants to watch obscure stuff that is unavailable (and will most likely never be available) in Australia.

I know a working method but I will end up in the sin bin if I mention it. Sorry

How did you do that? Id like to watch Michal and Michal Have Issues but its only in America. Some one said that your region is locked to the region of the credit card you signed up with. Is that true? Is there a way? Got a couple of vpns.
