Any different from the Kmart ones?

    • +3

      Just the "professional" price

    • Made according Apple specification.

    • Yes. I get professional results from my K-mart ones. Purchased 5 years ago, still cut like new.

    • +1

kmart ones are for toes only.

geez, why do i have to explain everything

  • +2

Yup, want to know what is so professional about it before I hit the buy button.

Prior to creating the products 12 months of sourcing went into finding a reputable manufacturer we could work with closely. We have been out to the factory, checked out the facility, the raw materials we stipulated, and the quality of the craftsmen that manufacture all our branded products. Every product is hand inspected and hand sharpened. If they don't make the grade they're scrapped.
I can't speak for Kmart, but all I can tell you is our products are as good as they can get.

Hope that helps, without sounding too biased.

Have you seen the close up pictures of your product? I wouldn't call those edges "as good as they can get"

    • +1

      where is the factory?

are they made in Seki ("the city of blades"), Japan? all the best nail clippers seem to come from there (green bell, kai, seki edge, etc)

Also, if you're not happy with them when they arrive you know the score with Amazon….just return them. At $19.99 they're a bargain, for $12.99 they're a steal. Perfect for stocking fillers too!

  • The Kmart ones would be better as they have the side cover where as these ones don't look like they do.
That cover helps catch the nails and helps makes it less messy.

Hey OP, question, if you've sourced your products directly how come the packaging is bilingual? I would think if you've worked so closing with the manufacturer that you'd have final say over the box art?

    • Hi Nalar, we currently only sell the product in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. We designed the packaging to have French to cater for the large French population in Canada. We just use the same box for here as there is no need for another language.

      • +5

Oh because that certainly LOOKS like Spanish on the box there…..

Seem good from this best nail clippers review

    https://nymag.com/strategist/article/best-nail-clippers.html

    • ??? Couldn't find the item posted here in the review
Is "Tweez Er" same as "Tweezerman" ?

      • May be looks the same 😅

The Kai clippers (Made in Japan) are hand down the best nail cutter I ever used. Not expensive and the blade retains its edge for a long time. You can get them on eBay, shipped free from Japan

    • How do they compare with Zohl and Zwilling/J.A. Henckels ones?

      • Didn't use these two brands, sorry. Never needed to look past Kai anyway

        • Had a look. The both seems expensive so you can expect them to be good. But Kai are very good too. Not gonna cost you that much to give them a try. Here is one link. Kai Hand nail clipper

          Search Link

          • @lastkey: Not that I have used both of the brands I mentioned. Zwilling is a reputable knife brand and somehow also release nail clippers for some reason (probably they are proud of the quality of their steel). I passed the chance of getting one of their nail clippers when I was in Hong Kong for holidays, thinking it was ridiculous to spend a great deal of money on a nail clipper. Thanks for the link and I am going to try Kai.

      • Never used them unfortunately, sorry.

    • they are not “professional” though

    • I bought some Japanese clippers (Muji brand) after breaking a few supermarket sets on my toe nails, and they've been excellent. Not much more expensive but much sharper and I've had them for about 4 years now.

I don't buy OP story about how special this product is, looks like Alibaba rebranded, happy to be corrected by actual users.

    Cheaper elsewhere:

    https://www.kmart.com.au/product/toe-nail-clippers/1197318

    also Daiso has good clippers.

  • I bought small clippers from woolies, 'Select' brand as I was counting grams in my pack for a month and a half long hike. Walking this much you clip your nails weekly to keep the perfect length. They were really cheap on price but brilliant on quality. Even the small size did my mens 13 feet perfectly.

    • I second this. I bought some female branded ones (sally something?) for around $15 from woolies once and they barely cut any of my nails - they were not sharp at all! Decided to try out the woolies brand and they were 100x better at 1/3 of the price

    • Yes the woolies ones are really good

  • 1 dollar each in the Philippines!

    • Lol. you make me laugh, are you actually so naïve? Do you not know the difference between a brand, and unbranded products? Do you think a Samsung TV is the same as one from Aldi? Perhaps Nike trainers being the same as Kmart ones? Of course not. If you do not know this then its not worth wasting breath on you.

You go and get your $1 product, along with your Kmart trainers.

      • Ouch look like I touched a sore spot LOL, fyi the 30 peso nail clipper can be found at any 7-11 stores in Manila. For something that last for a 10 minutes job on your hands and feet weekly. 1 dollar is a bargain for ozbargainer. oh i don't buy kmart trainers but don't pay more than 50 AUD for a pair of branded shoes unless i need them for work purpose.

        • Still dont see any proof that these products are any better than other, if anything it seems like a lie the part about custom product (see my comments above)

Seems like a cheap/generic alibaba product with a 'custom' logo.
