Advice / Recommendation for Monitor Arm (Desk Clamp) for Kogan 34" Ultrawide KAMN34FXQULA

Hi folks, I'm looking for recommendations or advice on a monitor arm that will actually fit my 34" kogan monitor. The problem I see is that the vesa 75x75 screw holes are recessed so that means I can't get anything that's is wider than vesa 75x75. All monitors arms I've come across have holes for both 100x100 and 75x75, which means it won't fit in the recessed space in my monitor.

Sorry if this topic / question has been posted before. I will remove this post if someone can point me to a previously answered post.

I have that monitor and it works fine on the North Bayou F80 which can be bought for around $40. The F100A is a bit better in that it gives you more movement on the arm, especially useful on this monitor as the VESA mount is a bit higher than centre so the monitor might be a bit low if you need the arm extended out. That said, the F100A is double the money so it depends on your budget.

    • Thanks! This helps a lot.
I've been watching H80 (https://www.amazon.com.au/Monitor-Motion-Swivel-Spring-Compu…) since F80 doesn't seem to be in Amazon stock (doesn't ship from amazon). So it seems that all vesa mounts should be able to fit as long as they are rated for the weight.

    • I ended up getting a North Bayou H100 but the vesa mount arm just does not fit at the back of the monitor. I'm not sure how any other vesa mounts will fit that monitor at all. I don't think you have the same model as I do.

Luckily I had another older LG ultrawide to go with the H100 I purchased.

    I got a Brateck https://brateck.com.au/product/mabt-ldt10-c024/

My Samsung monitor has a notch which meant the 100x100 plate wouldn't fit. I just hacked off the two 100x100 holes at the bottom of the plate and done. Now it fits.

  • I bought the North Bayou F80 mount for my 34" Xiaomi curved monitor and it couldn't support it, even when it says it could support monitors weighing up to 9kg. The swivel couldn't hold the monitor's weight and kept point downwards, and the entire arm itself didn't give me much confidence as it was super wobbly.

I thought about it for a while, but ended up pulling the trigger to invest in an Ergotron LX arm instead and the quality is miles ahead. You get what you pay for I guess.

    • I ended up buying this https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08DKBWS18 North Bayou H100 because it is supposed to support monitors up to 35" and up to 12kg.

It does hold the weight very well and seems to be stable so far (installed it earlier today).

I'm sure you will be pleased with the Ergotron; seen very good reviews of that one.
