Dreame D9 should be more powerful at Max/Carpet-Boost mode in theory (does a great job on my carpets), can't speak for S5 Max but all reports say it's a very stable/reliable device. My main issue with the Dreame D9 (at least until a firmware update supposedly due in Dec may resolve) is it's forgetfulness of which room it's docked in. I've had to re-map the house at least 3 times and even still, I'll boot up the Mi-Home app, the inconceivably the vacuum's base/dock is situated in a different room on the map than where it started/returned on the prior vacuum. Other than that's it's been a very capable performing device, even for light mopping, does a consistent job.
Also I should add that I feel the Dreame D9 and S5 Max can be had for under or around $600, so on paper, both are superior value for money.
Watched this review of the L70 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clYndvWqCI8 also, I felt it was a bit forgiving of some of the issues with this model (that being said, nearly all robot vacuums have issues finding their base station if you don't start the cleaning from there).
Same issue - waiting on the Kogan deal… but will prob switch.
Bummed I missed out on JB's cheap eufy RoboVac 35c at $224 the other day…

Yeah i'm happy with it, Have a large house with combination of hardwood floors and carpet. It;s gone all over the place and fills it bin, does get stuck on some things but it's working as well as I expect. I'd happily buy again.
Read amazon reviews, apparently this doesn't do vacuum/mop at the same time, is that correct? Also, water to be filled in the dustbin itself? Thx
@Ch Rs: You have to put it in mopping mode on the mobile app when the mopping attachment is attached, so yeah that probably can't do both at once.
It has a separate reservoir from dustbin that you fill with water and it pushes a mop that you attach around. The manual does say that you use clean water only, no cleaning detergents. So it's not going to be an awesome mopper anyway, it's primarily a vaccuum. If you want good mopping I think you're going to have to do it with hard yakka.
