Why Does Target Hate Me? (Can't Access The Target Website)

For days now I can't access the Target Australia website. I get this error message:

Clear your browser's cache and cookies.

Yes, or try a different browser which will also have the effect of ruling out interfering plugins/extensions.

    • worked
      thank you

So you spent days wasting your time trying to access target, probably blaming them the whole time, yet failed to apply a simple logic like using a different browser or clearing browser data?

yet failed to apply a simple logic like

          • Contacting OzBargain a first sign of a problem.

@Baysew: Have to say, from what I see posted in OzB and the comments to solve a problem, it can be a lot more useful than the "professional" support you get.

But, sometimes it is pointing out the obvious 😅

        • i didn't spend all day trying to get onto target eyeroll
i just haven't been able to for several days

      • well it sort of worked
the problem seems to occur when i try to open products in a new tab, which is how i usually shop
        weird

        • It's a sign to stop shopping :P

I personally use Kmart to empty out my cache reserves.

too many requests from you to buy a Mario game & watch :D

  • This happens to me too, and clearing cache and cookies didn't change anything. I had to use an incognito window on Chrome to order.

    • Wow super weird. Does that let you open products in new tabs?

      • +1

Yes. I can only browse and buy from Target online using incognito now

        • thanks i will try that

could be an ip thing? i think telstra changes my ip - could someone from our current ones have tried to hack them or something?
