How to use the money that is banked for Christmas? I have $160 that is available from the 1/12/20
I've scanned my card at the checkout at least twice this week for spending's over $10 and never had any deductions from it.
Does anyone know how to access the money from it? or am i suppose to change it to $10 off shop during this time to access it?
In the app is the easiest way, tap on ‘card’, tap on the bank for Christmas total, unlock it

Yes mine has been doing that too. I haven't had to unlock it previous years, so I was feeling a it confused about it too. Thanks for the heads up about the unlocking, I had no idea.
hmm i had a look there before and it looks like it is activated, It says "You're currently getting all your money off at Christmas, available from 01/12/20"
Is there a minimum spend?
Minimum spend is $10, since you can only redeem Everyday Rewards dollars in blocks of $10 (which is frankly ridiculous, but I digress…)
Make sure you now also turn it off in your settings, now that 1 Dec has passed. Otherwise any $10 credits you earn this month will still go to your Christmas balance.

How do I use and unlock my Christmas savings in 2020?
There are 3 ways to unlock your savings.
Email:
- You would have received an email from Everyday Rewards on 1 December notifying you that you need to unlock your savings.
- Click the ‘Unlock now’ button in this email.
- You will be taken to a page that confirms you have successfully unlocked your savings and are ready to spend. It’s that easy!
Everyday Rewards app: Unlock your savings via the Everyday Rewards app.
- Go into your Everyday Rewards app or download the Everyday Rewards app from the App Store or Google Play.
- You will then be notified in the app when your Bank for Christmas savings are ready to unlock.
- Go to the Card section of the app by tapping on the lock icon and swiping to unlock.
- You will see a success message when your savings have successfully been unlocked.
- If you don’t see the Unlock option in your app, please ensure your app is updated to version 2.9.0 or newer, hard close or quit the app and then reopen it to try again.
- You may have to wait 15 minutes to spend your Christmas savings from the time of unlocking.
Everyday Rewards Hub: Unlock your savings via the Everyday Rewards Hub.
- Visit the Rewards Hub at a Woolworths store from December 1. To see if your preferred Woolworths has a Rewards Hub, click here.
- Scan or enter your card number at the Hub, press the Christmas tile on screen and enter your password to log in.
- Use the toggle to swipe and unlock your Christmas savings.

I am having troubles unlocking my savings, what do I do?
If you aren't able to unlock your savings via the email or Everyday Rewards app, the quickest way to unlock is to change your Rewards choice to ‘Money off my shopping’. This will unlock your funds within 15 minutes or less. If you wish to change back to ‘Bank for Christmas’ again you will need to log in to your account and update your Rewards choice. If you’re still stuck please contact us.
The weird thing is that I don’t remember having to unlock my savings, even though I had over $50 saved…

Strange that it looks like it is activated on the app when it wasn't. I also didn't see a notification to unlock it either.
I've just unlocked it through the email so hopefully it works on my next purchase :)

Hmmm … only turned my on recently to get the 3x points kicker promo and then suddenly it crossed 1 December and I got $50 off without doing anything in particular.
It doesn't automatically apply when you checkout. You need to select woolworths dollars from the payment methods.
Can you buy gift cards? Seems like if you don’t spend the rewards during December, it’s locked for another year.
I banked my points for Christmas last year but did not get to Woolies to spend the points in the time window that you are required to do so. I received an email to advise I could access the point this Christmas, however is seems the points have disappeared as my Christmas fund balance is now zero. Is there anyway to check or are they lost for good.
You need to unlock it. It's in the app or on the website somewhere, I don't recall exactly where..
