    How is this so slow?

    Data Transfer: 480Mbps

It's a USB 2.0 cable but as I said in the deal, it's designed for charging so that'll have no impact.

These deals from Aliexpress are fun. You buy the cables for a few bucks, forget about them and in a few months time the cables come which is a nice surprise.

  • got it; thanks Clear. Shows up as $1.42 from my end.

  • Just ordered a couple. Cheap as chip.

    • No it's not. 79pcs of the 0.5m PVC available.

  • Got one of each size, my oem pixel 3a cable just died. Perfect timing.

All my Cabletime orders from 11/11 arrived last week and the week before. Their shipping is surprisingly quite fast.

Using a USB 3a to C in the meantime, only a short one that is baseus branded works. Other long, no name brands don't work.

  • Is the metal one preferred?
The PVC ones are even cheaper

    • +1

Metal is better in that the cables are braided. No stock of 0.5m however.

  • Thanks OP, got the 2m one for US$2.97 including tax
