JVC Lt-48n770a Arc? Issues?

So i originally bought this TV for the mancave, and am now wanting to use the ARC feature, but i don't seem to be able to get it to work.

Anyone else get this TV and use this feature?
Does it actually HAVE this feature?

HDMI 1 (ARC) should mean it does.. but i can't find a manual or any other info on this TV.

Any ideas?
TIA

  • I have the the same tv. I'm using the ARC with a Sony soundbar. HDMI 1 is one of the inputs on the underside of the TV, not the side. I know on mine the inputs aren't labelled and I had to dig the manual out.

    • Mine is labelled with ARC
Can you take a pic of the HDMI section?

      • Sorry man, just saw your post. I can't take a pic at the min . If you are looking at the back of the tv it is the left hand side of the 2 HDMI inputs. I had to enable CEC in the settings for it to work, I think. Won't be home until late tonight. If you have no luck, let me know and I'll check it out tomorrow.

  • Going off that 1st pic. You need to move the cable over to the HDMI on the left

  • +1

Sorry. Just re-read your post. If you have it in HDMI 1 and it's not working, then I'm not sure. I'll check mine out tomorrow and let you know.

    • Does yours look the same as mine?

  • ARC can be a pain and I have had to muck around with it recently.

Turn both the tv and soundbar off from the wall and wait a few seconds. Then turn the tv on fully. Once it is on turn on the soundbar. Sometimes doing this helps fix it up.

    • Mines connected to a Yamaha AVR, not a soundbar
But will try what you say

    • Nope still no good

  • Mine looks the same as yours. Tbh I have heaps of trouble with it cutting out, I thought it was the sound bar but I think that the TV just doesn't do the ARC stuff very well.

    • Ok.. cheers
Might look at upgrading the TV then
Or get a new AVR that supports 4k…
      either / or
