I wouldn't count on it. Even going in store you have to specifically ask for a sealed copy. When I did this the other day, they took someone else's order out of the drawer and gave me their copy.

Ditto, It's hit and miss. I've bought about 20 games in the Christmas sale half of the new ones were sealed.

  • I've only received a sealed game from EB is when it's a new release.

I actually like EB Games but it's one of the reasons I avoid EB Games.

  • 100% of my delivery orders have been sealed.
Never once got an open game in all my years of using them

The games I've received aren't usually sealed. Especially if you're buying sales or clearance games that have likely been sitting in store for awhile.

Definitely wouldn't be sealed as stores gut everything.

Games from the warehouse (shipping is $5.95) have all been sealed in my experience. If you buy a game that is sourced from another store (shipping will be $14.95), then it will not be sealed as it's shelf stock from that store.
