      thats right, last time this offer was on it wasnt worth it, very limited range. You can get large discounts off Bonds from other places when specials are on.

    think it is pretty decent deal. bonds are bonds after all. not sure why people don't like Best & Less. i quite like it. B&L is one of those handful few shops that offer genuine sales and deals, not tricky promotions.

    40% off yet the wages since bonds are now made overseas were cut by 95% or more I'd imagine. Bonds is no longer bonds, it's China Bonds.

        Bonds charges a premium for what is no longer a premium product.

        Most stuff is cheap Chinese crap. Bonds is expensive Chinese crap. If it's crap I'm going to be getting I'll take the cheaper one. I miss having the option to pay a little more for quality in something I'll wear every day.

          Apple is different from other stuff, not because of the hardware but because of the software and the design. I still think it's waaaaay overpriced and I've never bought an Apple product of any sort in my life but I can understand why people choose to buy them.

          My opinion is that Bonds quality today is no better than the cheap own brands and yet it's significantly dearer. If they kept the old Bonds quality then it'd be a different matter but they didn't. The only benefit I can see from buying Bonds is having the name "Bonds" on it, and the people who worry about things like that are probably buying more expensive/prestigious brands than Bonds anyway.

          my guess is that you don't have any evidence to back up your claims of lesser quality. It's all anecdotal.
          And just like Apple, I'm sure Bonds design their wares in Australia.
          Keep in mind that just because it's made in china doesn't mean there aren't quality control measures. The only reason it's cheap is because labor is cheap. And as evidenced by Apple, cheap labor doesn't mean the quality suffers.

          Well of course I bloody well don't have rigorous scientific evidence, I don't have a team of scientists analysing my smelly socks at end of the day.

          I've found the quality isn't up to scratch for the price. Others think the same thing. You obviously don't. I won't go out of my way to buy Bonds unless it's cheap (e.g. this deal) and you can pay whatever price you like if you think the value's there. Everybody's happy (especially Pacific Brands, who save on labour costs and charge the customer for the privilege).

    I find Bonds is not good quality anymore, & soooooooo overpriced.
    The last undies I bought were Holeproof, & the elastic has lasted so much longer.
    Unfortunately, all made offshore now:((

      Holeproof and Bonds are the same company (Pacific Brands) and have the same manufacturing, many of the products look the same but with different branding.
