Any Experience with Cheap No Name Brand Window Tinting

There are so many car window tinting places now that offer "Lifetime Warranty" they don't seem to want to tell you what brand they are using. I remember there used to be only a couple that offer this like 3M and Suntek. Has anyone had experience with these no name brand window tints and if they are any good?

Or any other suggestions.

  • How long do you plan on keeping your car?

    • probably only 5 more years, still want a level of quality while I have the vehicle.

I would depend on how long they define of "Lifetime" is.

I was thinking that, a lifetime of "car window tinting places" staying in business.

  • Just don't be the guy that drives around with 1000 bubbles on their windows.

Tinting isn't that expensive to get the proper name brand fitted.

Don't be the person driving around with tint that has turned blue, started peeling, and is almost impossible to see through because of all the bubbles in it, it's police bait.

  • We got the ceramic tint on both our cars done with RACQ glass in Nerang (I see you’re Gold Coast). It’s very good and haven’t had any issues so far. You usually need to book a couple of weeks in advance and from memory they close over Christmas for a bit. Prices via this link https://www.racq.com.au/cars-and-driving/products-and-servic…
