my pump died so I've had to water the old the old fashion hose way.

yeah it was a grundfos, but i learned that it doesn't matter to insurance companies whether you bought the best or the worst. If it's under 10 years they'll repair it.
I have bought chainsaws, domestic pumps and dirty water pumps from edisons.com.au. They are cheap Chinese machines that seem well enough made but don't last as long as big brands but are good value for money. I notice they also sell bore pumps.
Bore pumps get really heavy as you go deeper than about the 30m mark to pull out. You may be better off getting something that will last longer. I use https://pumpsandpipes.net.au for better quality gear.
