This list turns out to be not just unconfirmed but an incorrect list of Epic Games Holiday Sales free games. Posting unconfirmed / speculative offers is unhelpful for the community. Please check the updated guidelines — posting free games from Epic / Ubisoft during the current holidays sale before the day they have started is not allowed.

Also starting December 17, we’ll be giving away a new game each day for two weeks straight - that’s right, it’s 15 Days of Free Games! Each game will be free to claim for just 24 hours, but they’re yours to keep forever.

Now is the perfect time to browse and add any games you’re interested in to your Wishlist while logged in to your Epic account - you’ll receive a notification if they go on sale.

    Jesus Christ, I'm not saying they shouldn't give away a bunch of free games, just that I, personally, would be happier if they were ones I didn't already have.

        The deal here is clarity around the specific 15 games that are supposedly being given away free.
        
        Why the hell would I, or anybody, object to stuff being given away free? This is OzBargain FFS. It's a good deal. I clearly said in my original post "GOOD VALUE FOR THOSE WHO DON'T HAVE THEM". Of course I'd rather it were 15 games that I don't already have, and so would you.

Anyone having trouble logging on to their Epic account? I can get to the login screen and put in my email and password, but the button to login is just a spinning circle. Tried to refresh the page multiple times but still the same.

Borderlands and horizon make me really doubt it.

But I want to believe, and after some major giveaways like GTA, total war, plus the high standard of indie games… It's possible.

    Yep, and without the list, there isn't really enough detail to justify the post. Some of the $1 Tuesday eBay deals were removed for this reason.
    
    If OzBargain keeps on this path, businesses can just create spam posts for bargains that don't really exist, promising that they'll add the details later.

  This would cost EPIC millions in fees to the rights holders. There is zero chance that this picture of a free games list with spelling mistakes is real.

You guys are ruining the hope. OP has stated that its not an official source.

Epic has given away GTA, Civ 6 and Total War this year, so they are on a great track record to deliver something like this. You don't know that the list is fake until the 18th so lets not jump to judging first.

GOG.com, getting a bit of bad publicity because of Cyberpunk 2077 playing like a turd and not supporting more genders, are going to try and do one better, their list of upcoming free games is below:

18/12 - Legend of Zelda: BOTW [PC] - Nintendo have come to the party and ported this game to PC, free of course
19/12 - Cyberpunk 2078 - yes the sequel is already completed and will be out in just a few days and completely free of course
20/12 - The Witcher 4 - yep also ready and free
21/12 - Steve Jobs Simulator 2020 Gold Edition - includes bonus turtleneck DLC
22/12 - Assassins Creed State of Origin - special NRL licensed game, as a bonus Ray Warren will come to your house and commentate as you play (limited to first 5 downloads and must have stocked beer fridge)
23/12 - Metal Gear Solid - Psycho Mantis has been updated to check your GOG.com library and freak you out with more modern title guesses
24/12 - GOG.com will travel back in time and stop Rare selling out to Microsoft, a new and decent Rare game will appear on this date depending on your rules of time travel beliefs, may also assassinate Hitler (time permitting)

32/12 - Yes, they have invented a new day in December, and the entire GOG.com catalogue will then be available for you to download free-of-charge. Tip: add the games you want but don't bother downloading them, they are in your library forever from that moment

    I posted it last week and got removed because it was a dupe.
