Re the training courses:
I found the Fender Guitar tuition a little slow when I first started (total beginner), but slow is actually good. You learn to get it right in muscle memory before speeding up. Justin’s beginner and intermediate lessons are still free/donation and are very good. He has a great selection of songs at each stage with a variety of strumming options. Fender tend to keep strumming very basic so tunes sound pretty feeble for beginners.
I'd recommend Justin for beginners as he tries to get you into playing songs early on.

I personally love this app, and it has been my go-to guitar tuner and chord finder for over a year. I have no regrets about paying full price, so you should definitely get on this deal!
There are a few different tuners in there, so you should be able to find one that you like. However, the chord finder is easily the highlight for me, as it feels far more intuitive to use than any other app I have found on the Google Play Store.
I've been using gStrings which is good for a free app, but happy to avoid the ads.
This is definitely better, even just for tuning.

is this free forever or just a limited time?
as in, if we sign up for an account now, will we have access to the pro tuner forever? or it's just a promotion that you can try it out now for free and they will force you to pay for it in the future.
Further to this, do I need to sign up on the app or via a browser?
I signed up in the browser and when I logged into the app and got access to everything. But I can't figure if this is permanent or limited time.
I've just installed, and you create an app in the account.
There's nothing obvious about the offer being a trial…but we'll see.
I did it via the app. There's a popup at the start that gives the details and option.
My take on this. Offer to update the app is 'limited', so get it while you can. Once updated I would expect the features to be retained by the app.
