If you're looking for a (quality!) alternative to a Daniel Wellington, you may wish to consider this. I have both the blue dial and white dial versions of this watch and the blue dial version really pops in the sunlight with its sunburst dial.

Best of all: Eco Drive movement (meaning that it's solar powered and you may never have to change its battery ever again), and its got Sapphire glass!

    The listing might be wrong! Elsewhere on the web, it's said that it's sapphire glass rather than being mineral glass.

      Most sources I'm finding say its mineral glass. There's a couple that say sapphire. Citizen on their website specifically lists it as just Crystal Glass so I see where the confusion is coming from. I'd like to know for sure before I buy though.

        I've got both the blue dial and the white dial versions of the watch and can confirm it's sapphire! It's expressly stated on the labels and the caseback.

    Well it's got a standard 18mm lug width so I've swapped mine out for a mesh band, and I've also got a perlon strap for those warm summer days.
