Received promotional email yesterday from Kathmandu stating 'extra 10% off gift cards in-store only' not sure what extra means I'm assuming just means on top of whatever sales are on when you use them.
I love Kathmandu gear but usually only when I can get at least 50-60% off their crazy retail prices. Might be handy to stock up for when you need a new winter jacket and they have a 50% off sale :)
Available for everyone not just summit club members

To be fair, at least you know you're definitely getting a discount! Although it will defeat the purpose unless you're a seasoned Kathmandu customer and know when a bargain is really a bargain.
Kathmandu is of the same ilk as Rivers
I wonder how they're traveling financially?. Usually they seem to sell a lot to people traveling on overseas trips etc. 10% off to become an unsecured creditor and get back a few cents in the dollar wouldn't be a bargain.
Combine with zip on Saturday for an extra 10% off?
Normally 8% discount with SUNCORP etc.
So better price, when buying on sale.
