  • Hmmm I thought paid raffles weren't allowed here…

Loophole because it is free for 1 entry?

    • Hi @HeelTaker

Great comment, firstly yes you're right it's a free entry competition.

Secondly, you never actually 'pay' for anything in UpSide Competitions. You can just deposit/withdraw money into an e-wallet you control and have full custody of to generate tickets which increase your chances of winning the monthly prizes.

So you never lose your money at any point and it's free to deposit/withdraw your money at any time. The more money your deposit though and the longer you leave it in your wallet the more chances you earn for the chance to win the monthly prize. This month being the PS5 console.

I hope that clarifies your question above.

      Cheers

  • It seems like they want to play with user's deposit to make a profit. No for me. It could be easily changed to the scam.

    • Hi @JoshJ

Thanks for the comment and it's a great point you've raised and we've thought very deeply about it as the whole purpose of our app is to encourage people to save more money for the chance to win great prizes.

This is actually something that is unique in the design and technology of all UpSide Competitions is that all the players in the competition actually control their money themselves in their own wallet and it's held non-custodially on a neutral, globally verifiable network.

So that's a long way of saying we couldn't take anyone's money even if we tried because we don't actually hold it.

I hope that provides some clarity and assurance for you and you can always consult the T&C's to learn more.

      Cheers

  • Hi @UpSide

I've tried to withdraw money to see how long it takes, but it just says - converted to 14 tickets.

What am I missing ? How do I withdraw?

    • Hi @IceCold

Could you send us an email at [email protected]?

Withdrawals go straight through automatically straight to the credit card that was charged initially.

Let us know if you're still experiencing any problems.

      Cheers
