Don't know if it is allowed so just thought I might ask before posting. So I wanted to buy a low value item from a site but it charges postage more than the item itself. I wanted to make a post in the Classified to see if anyone else is buying from the same store so I can ask them to combine the purchase to qualify for free shipping and pay for it on pick up.
Is it allowed?

Not really since I'm not in a hurry to get it so we can arrange a time or location when it's convenient. It's like rideshare pooling where you both need to get to a place and so you share the ride and split the cost in this case we just paid for the item we purchase since we met the free ship threshold not much of a hassle imo
If they offer free returns - buy more to meet threshold and return what you dont want.
It could work but if you take into account restock fees, exchange but no refunds policy and etc it ends up costing more
Suppose you find someone who agrees to order for you.
Would the logistics involved (time organising/communicating, fuel/time/hassles to pick up from them etc.) be less than the $8 odd you’d pay for delivery?
