Aftershockpc vs Eluktronics vs Clevo and others

Hope someone here can enlighten me I am looking at a new gaming/dev machine and have been considering an AMD Ryzen Chipset for a new laptop/notebook with decent cooling and graphics card with a minimum of 64GB of RAM and 2TB NVMe storage and have been undecided between the APEX 15R from AftershockPC the RP-15 from Eluktronics or the NL51RU from Clevo.

Has any here use these devices or can offer an alternative reputable device/brand? Which also offers some level of warranty on 1-3 years.

Not sure about the other two, but I believe Metabox (an Australian company) sells rebadged (and maybe modified?) Clevos. Might represent better value-for-money/warranty conditions than buying from Europe.

I've bought from Metabox twice (via affordablelaptops.com.au I think that's the URL), they gave me excellent service.

The first Metabox (Clevo) was a beast, my kid used it for YR11 and YR12, daily beating, yet it worked a treat.

I did end up buying some replacement bezels, but that laptop really impressed me.

Word of warming though, you need to re grease the cpu after a couple of years. Mine burnt out on the third year, and it was all dried and cracked. I really should have thought of that.

I wouldn't hesitate buying another Metabox. Price performance was exactly what I needed at the time. Hope that helps despite it not being specific to the model you're looking for.
