Just had a browse around the terminals (I get here early when my flights sting me this hard), and found a 'duty free' store at the Qantas Bag Drop in Terminal 1 doing some bloody good prices on chocolate and some other bits.

Chocolate coated cherries $5, Toblerone bags or sticks $5, chocolate coated macadamias $4, larger Lindt blocks $5. Loads more bits there too well worth a sticky beak and pretty good for a bargain at the airport!

Sorry I didn't catch the name of the store or a pic, to be fair it's a tad suss to take snaps of anything in an airport, regardless of death plague.

      Fyi, if you can run fast enough there's a half an hour rest stop with free parking :)

        Considering you have to wait by your car to use that parking and also that it’s 2km from the terminal, you’d have to run like The Flash to get away with that bargain…
