Just bought a camera set up that requires a sim as it's too far from house to wire or use wifi.
Can anyone recommend one that may be suitable? It's not for permanent recording, just checking in on livestock with the phone every now and then.

We can get all of them. We're with Telstra ourselves but need a cheap sim
Depends on whether you got only Telstra / Optus / Vodafone or all three. Vodafone and Optus is generally cheaper but may not have good coverage in your area is you are out in regional areas.
