  • Great price, Too bad I just bought the Inspic S last week from Amazon for 134.

Do not recommend, the photos are extremely poor value at 54 cents each (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/canon-zink-mini-photo-pri…).

A child would run through these very quickly.

I don't think this is a reason to neg. This is a great deal based on the saving. Fuji instax cameras are more expensive and the paper for them is around $1 per print

    • +1

Have you looked at the competition? They're up to $2 a print.

        Instax Mini $0.80
        Instax square $1.20
        Instax wide $1.50
        Polaroid $3.50 (not a typo)

    • +4

Yeah, that should be an extra positive really considering the prices for instax film

The media for these kinds of instant cameras are never cheap, usually ~$1 range, I think zink is the less expensive one of the lot. They are good novelties for kids and quick snap and print fun at parties. There is a limitation on this one, it does not connect wirelessly to smart phones so you can't use the app to edit, print or control remotely. You'd want a Canon Inspic printer for that versatility (snap on your phone, edit if needed, and print).

      • +1

Or the Inspic S witch has bluetooth connectivity and you can also print photos from your phone

  • Thanks OP got one, my 12yo is crazy over instant camera and she really wanted one.

You've missed a good opportunity to teach her about money and wise spending.
Every so often, Harvey Norman offer 50 prints or OfficeWorks for $0.10 6x4.
It is hard to buy a camera with worse quality.

      • The Harvey Norman and Officeworks offers are not about INSTANT photos, please stop comparing papayas with passion fruits :P

That would be the difference between instant gratification of some crappy photos and delayed gratification of a larger number of better quality photos.

  • Buy the S series, don’t buy this. The camera itself cannot capture good quality image

    • any good deal on S series?

      • My S model(Xmas present for my 7yo) was delivered yesterday, $149 on Amazon

        • Won't be buying it for them until they are at least 14 at that price

    This or the new R5?

    • +1

Probably this. The R5 is nice but can't print photos.
