Once again it's on sale, get the extra $10 off by signing up for their newsletter (I use temp-mail.org for a quick email address).
They seem to have it in stock, there's a pretty good selection overall for all Lego, but this is the big one!

Sounds like you might be on the edge of some mental challenges and if you are, know that we get through everything together. Covid has fu**ed a lot of minds, mine included but we're here with you to find the next bargain

You could get a really nice 3d printer and enough filament to print out entire faction's fleets for this price.

You've got the Lego CEO's scrambling now

    • +1

      Same quality?

      • +1

Well.. more lifelike as you don't have the limitation of needing everything to be made from Lego pieces. You could also get some really nice paints, brushes and mini LED lighting kits too to really bring it all together.

Have a look at this 3d printed Falcon replica:

Tried to buy and was insta cancelled

  • Order went through and paid. Received confirmation then received cancellation due to insufficient stock
    .

  • I want to buy but I am not going to risk it by paying with my Coles Myer Gift card. They might end up giving me the Target Gift Card instead if it’s been canceled

That extra $10 did it for me…..

  • I wish i had the space for one of these bad boys…… one day dream of having a rumpus room coffee table with this inside.

  • I honestly thought this was a joke post when I clicked on it: "no way that people will pay this much for….oh"

    • Nostalgia is a powerful drug

    • Probably a few flippers/"investors" too.
On the other end of the scale the "I don't have space" excuse is pretty weak hehe (it may be true, but buy now build later has never been an issue for other things, they just don't happen to cost 4 figures :P)

    • The price of this set keeps going up because of the not so good USD/AUD conversion, lots of people are speculating that the RRP will go up in the near future.

      • That can't be right. In late March, $1 AUD would only get you $0.60 USD. Today, $1 AUD will get you $0.75 USD.
The Aussie dollar has been climbing not falling.

But since Lego is made all over the world who is to say that the USD/AUD even matters.

  • A used one pickup sold for $600 at Ebay . Bargain :)
