Online OHS Training - Any Reputable Companies?

I'm looking at doing a Cert IV Work Health and Safety.

Has anyone completed this course online, and can recommend a training company?

Fees seem to range from $600 up to $4,000 for the same course.

Parcor seems to look ok, so far.

Thanks for any info…

What do you mean by reputable?

I have never met a training organisation that won't pass a compliant dumb arse, because as long as they follow the rules they generally won't kill anyone… (rules are written in blood).

Some courses with external assessors (like high risk licence's) will just be four and a half days drilling the same content with out giving the answers. But unless you come off as a non tradie or a PCBU, as long as you comply and are in a low risk course, it's tick and flick.

    • true… I suppose I don't want to sign up for a course, and the company goes bust in a month…

Sign up a week before. Once you have your certificate who cares if they fold.

  • Go with whatever is cheapest and "recognised". It's not like it's a law or medical degree, where if possible, you'd prefer to go to an IV league or Go8.
