[PC] Epic - RimWorld $34.95 (was $49.95)/Hellpoint $27.39 (was $52.99)/Rogue Legacy 2 $11.05 (prices w coupon) - Epic Store

140

Great prices for these three games, especially for RimWorld that does not get discounted very often as the dev is very much against that if I remember correctly. See: https://www.reddit.com/r/RimWorld/comments/euon3p/does_rimwo…

So, if you want Rimworld this is your rare chance to save some money!

Prices for all three games are the all time lowest prices according to ITAD.

  • You can get Hellpoint cheaper in CDKeys for around $13 mark.

EDIT : The Search says $10 but when you click into the item it lists $13 instead

CDkeys is not an authorised seller I am afraid. Keys have risks attached to them.

      • I haven't had any problems with Hellpoint or any other titles I've bought over the years from CDKeys.

Well, I have and so have a good number of my friends.
I still have an Xbox key which I cannot get to work. It shows the right game but it states it is not for my region (Australia). Support refuses to help.
Tried US, UK, Canada regions but still no luck. Even tried Russia. Still nothing.
Xbox support says it is US but still does not redeem.
          Money lost.

@Lysander: Sorry to hear that, Lysander. My experiences are limited to PC Game purchases. I've heard that you will get much better support if you leave a bad review about them on Trustpilot as they allegedly are trying to maintain their high score. Still one shouldn't have to resort to such tactics to get the support they deserve in the first place.

Or if you have humble bundle get 20% off putting it to AU$39.96 for a steam key.

Rimworld is awesome. The modding community is fantastic as well. Very, very fun to watch on YT or Twitch if you want to get a glimpse of the craziness.

    • Recently I found another game called Amazing Cultivation Simulator is much much more fun than Rimworld. More content in character development aspect. But the English translation is somehow confusing. Luckily, English localization mod is in progress

Do they cultivate prisoners for free organs and hat material?

        • Rimworld made my non-gamer friends laugh a tonne. Admittedly, Rimworld ain't easy on the eye at first but after you get past it from the first hour, it's art style is very charming. Heaps of depth to the game mechanics, and also how low morally can you go haha

    • Yeah I agree the mods are the best part of Rimworld, but aren't the majority of mods released through Steam Workshop, which the Epic version wouldn't have easy access to?

I had heard Rimworld was planning on creating an integrated mod manager a while back but I haven't looked into it lately.

Edit: Doing a bit of searching, looks like there's a third party mod manager called RimPy which can potentially download Steam mods anonymously.

      • It's on sale on Steam now for $44.95. Are there still benefits to purchasing on Steam vs Epic? Is it worth it to spend the extra $10?

        • +1

I've played around a little with RimPy, looks like it will work to download mods and the interface is not overly complex. So having the Epic version is not the end of the world. You can try out RimPy first without even having the game installed.

Humble Choice is $8 atm, making it $48 all together for Rimworld plus the 14 humble monthly games and 90+ trove games, worth considering if you're going for Steam.
