$189 for 6 Bottles, Save $94 on This 92 Point, 7th Release Macedon Sparkling Red Wine (6 Bo

12

Only 20 (6 bottle) Cases available.

We have to remain Hush Hush about this winery's name. This sparkling has NEVER BEEN DISCOUNTED UNTIL NOW!

You are buying from a 5 star Halliday rated winery and a wine that is rated 92 points by the man himself.

If you are looking for something unique and very special then this is the wine for you. It comprises wines of varying years - 2000 Shiraz, 1999 Pinot Noir, 2006 Merlot. This is what gives the wine such a spectacular taste sensation due to the base wines being held in French oak barrels for so long prior to blending and bottling.

What do we think of the wine …

It is at the top of our personal favourites. Had a bottle during Budburst Festival a few weeks back, nearly froze it in the freezer but it survived and we could not fault it. One of those very yummy drops that you keep going back for!

The complexity of flavours makes this an excellent accompaniment to any menu of celebration … especially Xmas and new years.

1 Case = 6 Bottles. Approx. 8.3 Standard Drinks. 750ml. 14% Alc/Vol. Fermented in this bottle. You can cellar this till 2013.

The Deal is $81 off a 6 bottle case. If you use your initial WineYoga signup Karma points worth $13, that means it's $94 off. Note that you must signup to the store to get your $13 automatic credit.

Minimum number of cases to tip the deal: 10

  • So $189 for 6 bottles = $31.50 a bottle plus $13 delivery - am I correct? - must be bloody good wine, out of my league unfortunately

  • LOL … it is a bloody good wine. From Macedon's finest sparkling producer and arguably Macedon is the coolest climate and best region for sparklings in AUS. To be a 5 star Halliday winery should say a great deal about the quality of this wine. We love it … but must admit it is for the very special occasion! xmas and my wife's b'day tomorrow fit this criteria :)

    • So I take it this is Mount William. I bet Hanging Rock would have plenty to say about the claim they are Macedon's best sparking producer!

      • Hi Camw

Huge fan of Hanging Rock. You have great taste.

Can't say the name of the winery but even the french in November this year voted one of this winery's sparklings as top gold winner. Sure you will work it out!

  • +1

    Deals not active.
    No price in title.
Could have sworn you were a chick with quotes like "One of those very yummy drops"

    • All of the above, +1, and:

"We have to remain Hush Hush about this winery's name"

Then I have to remain Nope Nope about this supposed 'deal'. There should be an additional guideline here: lucky dips are NOT a bargain.

        1. Deal is active
        2. Price is now in title
        3. I have no idea what you mean by lucky dips not being a bargain. Some of the best and biggest bargain daily deal and groupbuy wine websites have amazing deals on wine where the winery does not wish to disclose their name given that the high quality of the wine being discounted might set a precedent. This is normal practice. It's simple … if you do not believe that this wine (after doing some pretty simple googling to have a guess at the winery name) is not of the highest quality … don't buy it. But perhaps do a bit more research on your facts before you bring negativity to this deal as the winery does not deserve your comments. There are only 20 cases available and most are gone so obviously buyers do not agree with your comments. It seems that we have to go back to the winery to ask for more :)
  • hmmm … placed this add too soon as there were many people ordering this wine at the same time and thought it had already tipped. Sorry about that. Deals have come through now and the deal is active.

LOL I used my wife's comments about the wine being "One of those very yummy drops".

      "placed this add too soon"

      Ahh.. I see, an advertisement.

  • +1

    Not really a bargain.

    An unknown winery?

    An advertisement = spam.

  • Spam? … this site is here for merchants to put up their deals which is not spam. Good to see that you have the xmas spirit going LOL. This wine has never been discounted before and it is from one of the best winery's (5 star halliday rated winery)so I guess a bargain is in the eyes of the beholder. Like I said in a post earlier, secret deals are at the request of the winery. Some folk like to be very pleasantly surprised when their case arrives and they find a top drop for a bargain. Anyway …. to each his/her own

    • No, this site is for people to share bargains they find. Reps from businesses are welcome to share bargains but spam is still spam.

Why don't you throw in a few more "LOL"s while you're at it too?

      • You are a real friendly person. I am a rep from a business that has shared a bargain. How can you call this spam? Anyway, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, however wrong it is
