Getting Feedback for Travel to Nicaragua, Bogota, Chile, Venezuela

In a post-COVID future, I'd like to visit Latin America and was wondering what people's experience were.

I'll buy you the flights and pay for the hotels if you can pickup my 18 headphone boxes and bring back with you.

    • dont get the context lol

      • Would picking up a boogie board with just a boogie board inside help?

      • Presents for a bridal party.

      • Google Cocaine Cassie. Got to admit, that has a ring to it.

    • Looks like fun police had been here…

That's a pretty random mix of Latin American places and a long way apart though here is hoping it's possible next year. You'll soon realise there is much more to offer than drug references. Though don't worry, people who have travelled there don't tend to make these.

Most people make the mistake of trying to see a bunch of countries in LA and don't realise the vast distances and time needed, particularly overland. Unless you have many months or a year, stick to a few countries. If you're going to Nicaragua then mix that with Guatemala. Between those 2 and Colombia you can experience many environments that Latin America has to offer and what Australia cannot.

Went to Bogota (and Colombia in general), Chile and Venezuela about 6 years ago. Colombia and Chile are very tourist friendly and lots to see. Always felt safe and people were friendly despite my limited Spanish.

Venezuela was a bit dodgy. Nothing happened to me personally but everyone seemed on edge as though they were ready for something bad to happen at any time. Everything was shut at sunset. It's probably even worse now. Shame really. South America is a great place to visit.
