Ultra Racing or Whiteline ? Help

Looking at buying a strut brace bar for the front end of my car.

Has anybody got any experience in these brands?

Obviously hear the Whiteline name alot but thought I'd ask about the ultra racing brand?

Thanks

Ultra Racing are mostly made of steel (heavy), 1 piece designs and quite cheap if you buy them directly from Malaysia.
Whiteline have steel end plates, aluminum center pieces and carry a premium price.

See if Cusco make a OS type bar for your car, its a bulkier design than the whiteline but lighter than the Ultra Racing, price will be similar or less than the whiteline depending on where you get it from.

    • What sites do you buy the ultra from?

      • what car have you got?

        • Accord euro cl9. I think its a 19mm rsb

    • Which is better

I'd go with one that is made of steel and doesn't flex in the center.

  • Yeah you would think steel would be better? I'm not sure…

Stick with a beefier steel one so you don't have to buy twice like I did many years ago.

      • So you have experience

  • I just bought a set of sway bar for mx5 nd. Spoken to friends and they say Whiteline is more of a value for the money rather than top performance. Will have to see how it goes

White line is garbage. The bolts constantly loosen up.

Yea I'm looking at Ultra racing

    • ever try red loctite?

      • Never heard of it

        • Red One

          Blue One

I would use the red one on bolts that i definitely don't want coming out again but for the majority just to have that extra strength and ensure bolts don't vibrate loose or move i would use blue , most new vehicles (cars and bikes) use blue as a standard for certain bolts. its a lot easier to undo with a little bit of heat.

          Would highly recommend this stuff.

For full effectiveness needs to set for 24 hours so after application try not to use/move whatever you fastened with assistance from the additive if you can.

@Willco88: Sorry , my reply was meant for @UncleFester because he was complaining of bolts coming loose.

      • Yes, it's turned the circle hole square. They're so shit.

  • Just bought Ultra racing steel strut brace ☺️☺️
