      I was eying the gingerbeer but worried it will come across as 'too gingery?'

      My point of reference is the standard Bundy ginger beer.

      The ginger beer is horrendously sweet. How can they say 'we don't dare oversweeten it', it's like a sugar syrup. Would love to know the sugar content…

    Funnily enough someone handed me a bottle to try yesterday.

    Wasn't expecting much when they said try this mango beer as first thoughts went to Matsos Mango Beer which I don't like, but as per the description this isn't a mango flavoured beer.

    Tasted ok despite the 8% alcohol content that some other drinks have seemingly only to avoid the alco-pop tax (ie Fat Pixie ginger beer which tastes terrible). Very sweet as you'd expect. I could only drink one. Good deal at this price.

    I tried the ginger beer, goodness, its awful. Cant imagine this would be better.

      Yep very disappointed with the ginger beer. Thought I was onto a winner with the awards and the way it is as described as being strong and bitey yet not overly sweet. But it is excessively sweet, and the flavour is wrong.

      I bought the ginger beer and was disappointed too, the mango is much much better. Over a tall glass of ice it was very refreshing and enjoyable. Coming from an Islay malt and Pilsner drinker.

    Someone gave me a few of these on NYE after I finished off my own grog, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor but the hangover was from hell. Not sure what was to blame though..
