Best Value for High Quality Mattress

Hey all,

so it is time i bought a new mattress, im not exactly wanting to skimp out on a cheapo mattress, i would be willing to spend around $1,000, but i would like to get the best value for my money,
so any reccommendations people have? the best mattress to buy, the best place to buy it from, the best brand, the best time of year to buy it around (ive seen all the boxing day sales but i dont know if those are year round prices or if this is actually the best time to buy it inwhich case ill need to hurry up and order)
pretty much any information or opinions wil be appreciated :3

    I have bought from Myer boxing day sales in the past and never disappointed.
    You can get a $1K or $4K Sleepmaker at 50% off usually around this time and sometimes they collect your old one. Although I never believe RRP prices anyway. I have both types and I do sleep better in the higher end one. Try them at the store and make your decision there.

    Some say the Sleeping Duck mattress is value for money and best you can get. I think it's around $1850 for queen. I am yet to try it.

    The best mattress I've owned was purchased from Beds for Backs. They where recommended to me by a friend as I was getting back pains, after buying one of these, I have no more backpains.
