I checked out this chair at JBHiFi which they sell at $399 and I loved the comfort of this particular chair.
Even though my initial budget was around the $200 mark I saw this timely deal on Saturday and paid a visit to Officeworks who happily extended the price beat and an ozbargainer ended up paying around 50% more than his initial budget. And the suprising part is I didn't mind doing so coz I have experienced the comfort and can convincingly say that its worth the extra bucks.
Actually I clubbed the offer with the Saturday zip pay deal bringing another $30 down, but couldn't post the deal until today(sorry)

      "very similar" aka same factory, different covering.

      it'll be just as uncomfortable as any other chair that looks the same.

    I have the ONEX GE300 which I’ve found to be great. I used it at home to WFH. The only complaint I saw online was that the arms rests are hard plastic rather than cushioned which I don’t believe is a big issue.

      If the only office chairs you've sat on are the ones in the computer lab back in primary school this will be the most comfortable chair you've sat on.

    This is comfy but be warned if you are tall the back is not suited to really tall people and sits below the shoulders (im 6'1 and its too low) missus is 5'8 and its fine for her.

      I have the france version, i'm 5'10 and my feet just touch the ground on this chair (and i have relatively long legs) . The chair cannot be lowered far enough which also means the arm rests hit my desk. It wouldn't suit a short person imo. It's quite comfy though, just sits too high so back to my old chair. The arm rests are also a little short, (seems all these armrest types are the same though, old chair had full armrest). I do like the recline feature though it's great and you could easily fall asleep in this chair, whether that's good thing or not i'll leave up to you. I'm my own boss luckily. :)

    Using one of these now actually… your mileage may vary my wife found it super uncomfy.

    me however i dropped a 20 bomb in cs and achieved top 100 in wow arena charts thanjs to this bad boy
