Where to Buy Cardboard Boxes and Plastic Containers?

Hi guys,

I am relocating my family of 5, looking to buy large amount of Cardboard Boxes and Plastic Containers for storage. Where is the best and cheapest place to buy these?

    Just go to bunnings and you can get plenty of them and they're free.

    Behind your local supermarket, Bunnings, Officeworks etc
    Can be hit and miss, may need to drive round to a few places

    Just picked up a whole stack myself last week

    Plastic containers and moving boxes are available from Bunnings. Moving boxes are also available at self storage places - Fort Knox, Storage King, Kennards Self Storage, etc.

    Definitely look at fb marketplace or gumtree. Boxes tend to only be needed for the move so a lot of time people just use them then give them away and the cycle continues.

    Do you have any friends who use Amazon a lot? They probably have a big pile of flattened boxes somewhere.

    I've scored boxes from all the examples mentioned above. Another place I got boxes from were from tyre and rim stores. The rims they had all came in good sized boxes that were quite sturdy. The fellow I asked seemed to be quite happy to be able to help me and also got a load of boxes removed from his premises. Win - Win, I think.

    Apart from classifieds, storage companies have them in bulk and cheap. and some will buy back to reuse.
