    Are these sent direct from the roasters? Curious about roast dates.

    Would like to ensure freshly roasted as it takes about 1 month for me to polish off 1kg beans.

      Hey there,

      No the roasters send them in bulk to us.

      For something that's super fresh I'd check out the Marimbus or Staple - those will be roasted on Monday of next week :)

      While AXIL and Cartel will be roasted between Friday and Monday.

      To extend the life, I'd suggest freezing a portion of the coffee.

    I pretty much use direct coffee exclusively. No offence to the micro roasters but your time is too valuable to waste for the sake of a few dollars.

    Life too short for sub optimal coffee

    It’s hard to choose I usually buy Compton road from five senses . Anything close to that quality?

      I liked the Compton road too but also like Proud Mary humbler blend too

      We're currently working on creating something similar to Crompton Road. But for now, I'd say that Proud Mary Humbler or AXIL Vader are good alternatives.

    Hi direct coffee, I bought marimbus from market lane for my husband but he said it's not strong enough. Is there anything you could recommend that is stronger?
    Or the strongest?

      That makes sense, Marimbus doesn't have much punch to it. I'd suggest checking out the AXIL Vader :)
