  Wow very cheap now, I guess Rise is around the corner so not sure if people will have time to pour hours into this, but nevertheless fantastic game at a great price. Highly recommend!

    I got a couple of monster hunter games on 3ds, can't really find what's so interesting about them? Not exactly sure what I need to do, I was too bored to continue into the game. Would be great if you don't mind sharing your experiences.

      I guess they're not for everyone, for me I've always loved the combat and monster AI. It's the type of game where you can be farming a single monster for quite some time to get the materials you need, but for some reason every time you fight it, it always feels different.

      Also it just feels satisfying taking down the monsters and finally getting that 1% item drop that you've been farming for for ages.

      There are also 14 different weapon types, so if I ever get bored I just switch to a different weapon and the fun starts all over again.

      I would recommend checking out MHW, as that's the most "user friendly" game (though personally I prefer the older ones), or wait until the Rise demo comes out on Switch this month and try it out. Especially as the older games do have a bit of a steeper learning curve and can feel a bit archaic at times, you might enjoy the newer games a bit more :)
