Just wondering if anybody has received theirs yet?

Purchased on the 22nd November and told to allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.. And yes I know it has only been three weeks but I just wanted to know if anybody had received theirs yet? I'm getting a little worried as it was meant to be a christmas gift..

Do you guys think I should email Cudo and ask if they have been sent out, or wait the extra week and risk not receiving it in time???

I just wanted to know if anyone else had received theirs..

The person I was buying for will understand if they aren't on time but I really wanted them in time for christmas and I allowed 4 weeks delivery so it is going to be annoying if they don't come in time :(

  • I also just noticed in the fine print it says "Subject to availability"… does that mean they can turn around and say there was none available? I think they should have known how many they could sell, sell that amount only and not put "subject to availability" in the fine print. Now I'm worried.

  • Don't waste your time. Email them now and just follow up. There's nothing more annoying then not receiving a gift on time. Advise them if your purchase does not arrive within the stated time frame then you will request a refund even if it has been sent.

    This was 2 weeks ago. 2-4 weeks, I placed my order on the 24th November and still waiting!

    And what I found today is that they are doing MORE advertising with better deals than Scoopon, Cudo and Spreets… =(

    • I know, I saw that today when I went on their website too. Devastated hey!!!

      I wonder why they are still trying to sell more when they havent even got our orders out yet??? I have a feeling they aren't genuine and kind of just want a refund at this point :S

      But then again it is only $17 so I may as well wait, even if it comes late my friend will understand..
      But still…

      I will probably receive the same email as you then!! Probably shouldn't have sent them my email before reading this..?? Woops…

      • One sign of warning that I hind sighted was their email address which was [email protected] sigh
        I'd say that I will wait up to 20th, if nothing else going on I am going to ask for refund. I spend $75 on it. Not only the earrings, but other necklaces, beads and other accessories too!

        • Yes, I'm thinking I might do the same, which will give me enough time to buy her something extra for christmas. Luckily mine is only $17 so if it does come afterwards I can give it to her!

  • FYI, Scoopon sold 5576 items from that deal.
    Spreets sold 1631 items. Not sure about Cudo.
    But that is a lot of order to satisfy!

    • OMG… yes I am worried now!! Yes I saw that they had heaps of deals on Cudo as well so that would probably be another thousand or two :S

  • I sent them an email just asking for confirmation that it has been sent as I allowed 4 weeks for delivery and it is a christmas present and therefore I cannot accept a late delivery.

    Their website says that they are receiving many emails everyday and try to discourage people from sending them emails, so I feel bad. But I just need to know that it has been sent and will arrive before christmas..
    And that it is infact available since they say "subject to availability". You're right, I don't want to leave it to the last minute, then them say oh it wasn't available, not get a refund or anything then have to find something else for her at the last minute…

    Plus they say I will get a respons in three business days which will actually take it to the four week mark…

      Next is that I truly hope that they are using 'Genuine Swarovsky Crystals' hahaha <— Not putting much high hope in that one, as long as it looks good then it's fine!

      That 'subject to availability' worries me a lot =(

      • Yes I know, I'm not holding my breath about the genuine part of the deal, but the subject to availability worries me because I have a feeling if they weren't available they wouldn't be able to notify the thousands of people they sold the deal to!

  • I think if it states delivery time for 4 weeks, you should not send any email to ask for it.
    Just imagine 5000 customers' email that they have to reply.

    By they way, if it's after 4 weeks, spams the email.

    • Well the response time is 3 working days, in three working days when they reply it will be 4 weeks.
      And I'm gonna get an automated response anyway. Whats that like 2 seconds to send?

      They wouldn't have to reply to 5000 customers if they sent everything out on time and if they couldn't reply and / or send things out on time they shouldn't have sold so many.

      I just want to know if anybody has received theirs yet… I don't want to sound like a grinch but I don't think I am going to and may have to set up plan B !!! :P

    So am I going to get them or not? Do you think I should request a refund? They sold 7000 for gods sake :S And they didn't answer my question regarding "subject to availability".

    I replied and said "So am I going to get them in time or not??"

    And I got an automated response with a list of their FAQ's..
    Which I already read before I sent the first email..

    Think I'll just buy her something else and keep the jewellery as a birthday present for her next year (she has an early birthday thankfully).

    • Yesterday when I got home, I got a 'delivery-but-not-home' note. Not sure if it is from this vendor or not, try not to get my hopes up. But will go and pick up today arvo or tmr morning. Will keep this thread posted =)

      It kinda worries me if they still haven't send it out since it's almost x'mas. Probably end up doing the same as you LKB, get them something else and keep it for next time!

        Yes luckily mine is only $17 so I don't mind keeping it, I have a feeling that email is code for "we haven't sent it out yet, apologies". However maybe they have too many people to track them individually, so hopefully maybe it has been sent out already :S

        I organised mine to be delivered at work so hopefully comes today or sometime soon!

  • I Purchased on the 22nd November & in Brisbane but still haven't received the intended present which now must go & buy something else as traveling north on Tuesday to have Christmas in Cairns with daughter. Very disappointed and have only just come across this thread as was about to send email to ask what has happened even though not quite the 4 weeks yet but very concerned after reading the same problems with everyone else. Unfortunately I did not read the fine print but will most certainly be writing them of my disappointment when they would most certainly have known that most would have been brought for Christmas presents.

    Just an update:
    After they sent me an email saying they were endeavouring to send out all orders on time, but not really answering my question, I sent an email back saying "Can you tell me if it will be delivered for Christmas or not?".

    They replied yesterday:

    We have had an enormous response to this promotion and we're endeavouring to get through the emails as quickly as possible. Your patience is appreciated. You should be receiving your purchase soon via Australia Post by Christmas, if not already. Please advise if you have not received.

    I replied "I have not received it yet". Don't know how they didn't pick that up from my last 3 emails!?
    Anyways, judging by their response I am assuming they haven't sent it out yet as I would have received it by now…. As the email responses are 3 days apart at a time I think they just wrote that to buy time before christmas.

    • I was just about to update too. The item that I picked up today was not the Jewellery that I hoped for. So I think you are right LKB, this is quite fishy now!
      Thought if I redeem early means I can get it early, guess not the case.

      I will be writing a complaint letter to the group buy provider and asking for refund if I didn't get it by Christmas. This is ridiculous!

      They did the same as well to my response, saying that it will reach us before Christmas! BS!
      Will be doing Christmas shopping on Thursday evening now =(

      EDIT: They even go as far as changing their email address twice!!!

        Ok great, I wrote to Spreets requesting a refund. I basically said they had broken the terms and conditions and the item was useless & non-existent to me now.

        So I think everyone should do the same :)

  • Okay, a weird update. I got 1 part of 5 that I ordered!
    This is the one I paid extra 'after' the coupons.
    So I am missing the 3 earrings and 1 necklace that I paid for.
    They are still not here =(

    Tomorrow is the last day for delivery and if it is not here, I doubt it will be here during Christmas…
    can only cross my finger and wait!

      • Yup same company. You know right after your voucher, there is 4 more items that you can buy as a side deal? Yeah I went for those, bought a drop down earring because it looks so pretty =)
        But just finding it strange that they packaged it separately instead of all in 1 go?

  • Argh, do apologise in advance for raising a dead thread.
    But I am right now very annoyed at Jewellery Replicas and Groupon.
    I had not yet received the voucher orders that I got from them, and been trying to contact them for the past 4 days. Albeit it's Christmas and so that's an exception but not replying within 2 business working days is just slacking!

    I want to ask for a refund since those items are not needed now. Is there another way to contact Groupon?

    • I am not sure I have never bought from Groupon? What are they like with customer service??

    Bought CUDO Swarovski on November 16th 2011. By January 19th 2012 had still not received. CUDO was unresponsive to emails and phone calls ( yes there is an 1800 number just Google ABN )in the end advised ACCC who responded with a file number and advice on how to take the matter further with State Authority. Emailed this to CUDO and money was refunded within 4 days.

    • I emailed Groupon too and got a refund 4 days later!
      But companies like FashionReflection is dodgy… they basically bought an ISP and sell their stuff! They could also just take the money and go!
      Need to be careful of these small business now a days.

      One thing that disappoint me even more is that similar earring on the website, I found it in Malaysia at their department store selling 1/8 of the price! Looks similar, but won't comment on the quality since I didn't take a closer look… but still shocking nevertheless!

    These dodgy group buy websites are selling valentines crap now. As if there is a chamce in hell the rubbish will show up in time for love day.
