Pro tip: Use a blender if you find worms in your bottles. Extra protein :)

Not a big fan of the ingredients label. MPC and Calcium Caseinate are its protein sources. So its more than $2.70 for 30gms of protein from those 2 sources.

    • Concentrate is quite common in drinks/bars because it’s low cost, you’ll rarely find isolate in them or if you do it’s a mix and isolate is the minority.

      • Well it depends on the type of concentrate, MPC (Milk protein concentrate) is pretty much the lowest form of standard dairy protein concentrates and isolates. MPC is when casein and whey hasnt been separated as well as still has some of the carbs and fats of dairy. Calcium casein isnt the worst form of casein but neither is it the best, its still considered quite a low quality form of casein protein. And thats all the drink has. So it depends on how well you do with these lower forms of proteins as quite a lot of people will have some form of allergic or dietary issue minor or major. The 2 biggest issues when it comes to dairy allergies is Lactose and casein protein. This has both since MPC will have some lactose and has casein as well as Calcium caseinate like i mentioned is a lower form of casein protein. So thats a lot of casein protein / basically majority casein protein as MPC and dairy in generally has 80% casein and 20% Whey proteins.

I just dont know if those ingredients justify $2.70 per 30gms, if it was cheaper OR if they used better ingredients then yes i would be on board. I personally would prefer to see them have WPC only if they were going to use just a couple of sources or one and only a cheaper concentrate.

I will say though if the flavours are really good then it can still be useful for people who want to use it as a Meal replacement and will continue to use it due to flavouring and since it is mainly casein protein, that will help with making you feel full for a longer period of time. Then again that is part of also the allergic part to casein that some people have (me included).
