I keep on getting people talking about getting apple education pricing if you know a uni student but how does that work?
If they buy it but then "sell" it to you won't it still be under their name in apples system? Also how would that work with purchasing something like AppleCare?

Have had my education eligibility checked 3 times in past 4 years.
I haven't had my eligibility checked yet, I always purchase there.

No, they're exactly the same stock and need sign ins just like regular products.
You can check out from education store with any email, but you may get audited and they may cancel order without .edu email
Also how would that work with purchasing something like AppleCare?

Last year I ordered a mac book over the phone and just told them what Uni I was studying at.
They checked to see if the Uni was on the list and then gave the discount and nothing else was said or asked for.
I also got applecare.
They don’t check sometimes, but this is not consistent. Aside from the discount, nothing else is different
Just goto this link and buy. No one usually checks if you're a student. Normal email addresses work.
