If you are retrofitting HIDs into your standard halogen headlights, I agree with you. But if your vehicle came with HIDs, these are fine for replacement or upgrade.
I didn't realise you could replace HID with Laser globes. Did you need any type of conversion?

I implore people to avoid these if they can. There's honestly not much evidence they're safer than standard globes, yet they put significantly more harmful light into the environment. We're really only now starting to understand how this affects wildlife (and humans).
