    Upon further investigation, I see you are falsely advertising this model here as 2000 amps (peak), when it should be 1500 amps (peak) only.

        When I click on the Amazon US link via your website (https://thegrepro.com/product-detail-1) I see that the item model number is GP71C, which is exactly the same as the Amazon AU link for this deal.

        Also, why do you state 1500A under Technical Details on Amazon as well as on your website?

        Amazon has a very strong return policy anyway.

        You are kind of stating the obvious here, and simply deflecting from answering my question properly.
        Strong returns policy aside, people should always do their research before committing to a purchase.

          FWIW, I don't trust Gooloo's sudden upgrade rfom 1500A to 2000A for their popular model either… But so many of us Ozbargainers bought it based on their overnight "upgrade"

            @OverBought: According to Amazon AU, Date First Available: 26 February 2019. I am guessing this is when they launched with a 1500A peak rating.

            Since their upgrade to 2000A since 2019, there have been multiple deals on OzB on the 2000A model. I am assuming if there is anything shady going on it would have been caught by an OzBargainer by now.

              @DoctorCalculon: True. But there are experiences when jump starting with the Gooloo unit that doesn't feel like its actually outputting 2000A.

              Like pressing the Boost button supposedly to get 2000A CCA, but yet it can't start my ute which had a completely flat battery. (it was still connected to the battery though, so that may have an effect). Only after leaving it for 5mins with the Boost button, will get my ute to turn over.

                Odd. I don’t believe these smart jump starters can charge batteries, but it sounds like it may have charged your battery a little bit during the 5min wait…
